Psalm 35 and the Assassination of Charlie Kirk

The assassination of Charlie Kirk is the attempted murder of what remains of Christian society in the world. America (despite her many capital crimes against God and man) still bears what remains of the gospel in the world. A spark which is embodied in President Donald Trump and the 7 out of 10 also flawed American voters. The assassination of Charlie Kirk is the attempt to crucify Christ anew; and the symbolic murder of all who still honor His Holy name.
Now read Psalm 35 in light of this proposition. How does the sane portion of the American population regain its peace and stability in the face of such a grievous assault?
We cry out to the LORD, Christ, to contend with those who contend against us. We pray that he take up His shield and buckler, the Word and the Sacraments to help us. And which peaceably say to us: I am your salvation.
As for our enemies who would assassinate each of us if they could we pray: Let them be turned back! May the angel of the LORD drive them away. May their way be dark and slippery as they Lord’s angel, Christ crucified, pursues them for judgment, run as they will.
Without cause they laid a net for me, but not really without cause, because by eliminating Christ and His people from the world, they can make themselves the gods they have always wanted to be. Worshiped and adored by all. And having us as their hoard of slaves to do their bidding as they dine sumptuously dressed in purple each day.
Let destruction come upon them when they don’t know it. And let them be hoist by their own petard. O what glee for us to observe!
Then our souls will rejoice in Christ and exult in His salvation. Then all our bones will say: O LORD who is like You, delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him. (Were not the right Man on our side.)
These are malicious witnesses who buy their ink by the 55 gallon drum; They repay us evil for good. Only by the grace of the church which is the salt/preservative of the world, the prayer of the church, do they enjoy any blessing from God. And yet they in their blunt ignorance they repay us evil for good. Our souls are bereft! But why art thou downcast Oh my soul. Trust in God! They are but profane mockers who gnash their teeth at us. But the LORD will not look on, giving them a final chance to repent, for very long. But He will rescue our precious lives from the lions. And we will eucharistize Him in the Great Congregation, which is the Holy Mass of Christ. They open their mouths, still, against us and sneer: Aha, Aha. Our eyes have seen it on the 25/8 news cycle. And so we console ourselves by the prayers of his Psalm:
Awake and rouse yourself for my vindication my God and my LORD. And let us who delight in Righteousness, the cross of Christ which we also bear, say forevermore: Great is Christ our Lord who delights in the welfare of His worshiper. Then our tongues shall tell of His righteousness and of His praise all the day long.
